PEEK BAND

This product consists of two parts: PEEK band and needle.

The needle is made of stainless steel. It is sterilized and packaged. The sterilization method is with ethylene oxide.

Compared to conventional stainless wires, the Peek strap offers greater reliability and stability for sternal fixation. Suitable for fixation of the sternum during thoracotomy.

TALON FIX

The system is made of titanium alloy material.

There are two types of single-claw sternal fixation system and double-claw sternal fixation system: single-claw system is available in three shapes, and double-claw system is available in two shapes./p>

Each sternal fixation system consists of three parts: a fixed base plate, a top sliding plate, and a positioner.

There is no anodizing color treatment on the surface.

Suitable for sternal fixation during midline sternal thoracotomy in adults.

These synthesis systems allow an effective sternal closure, restabilizing the median biomechanics, helping the consolidation of the sternum and consequently allowing optimal bone fusion.

They are also used in cases of:

• Obesity
• Osteoporosis
• Severe chronic respiratory failure
• Sternum fractures and asymmetric sternotomies
