3D Prostheses

It is possible to obtain excellent results since the planning of the operation and/or a prosthesis allows the surgical technique to be optimized in order not to cause functional alterations additional to those characteristic of the diseases.

The reconstruction of prostheses using 3D allows you to obtain customized models and prostheses obtained from a design created from DICOM data.

Working on dimensions and shapes that reflect the specific anatomies of the patient and with the help of indications received from the surgical staff, a digital model of the prosthesis is first created and then the corresponding one in 3D printing.

This technology is applicable in particular to the reconstruction of bone and/or tissue gaps, allowing the patient to return to a normal life, thus reintegrating into everyday social life, also thanks to a good aesthetic result.
